JAMESTOWN, Tenn. — A new chapter is beginning for a familiar Main Street storefront as The Red Door Mercantile prepares to celebrate its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in downtown Jamestown.

The event will be held Friday, September 11, at 11:00 a.m. at 114 South Main Street and is being hosted in partnership with the Fentress County Chamber of Commerce.

Formerly known as Main Street Thrift, The Red Door Mercantile is inviting the community to join in the celebration and help welcome the business to downtown Jamestown. Chamber officials are encouraging residents, business owners, and visitors to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony and show support for local entrepreneurship.

The event is open to the public, giving community members an opportunity to meet the owners, tour the shop, and learn more about what The Red Door Mercantile will offer.
